Blue Bird 2012

Blue Bird Festival was the most intense musical autumn highlight. again. I was following 3 out of 4 days of the festival with my camera and captured movement, energy and emotions.

airwaves12 - daughter

yes. there were concerts happening all over town in reykjavík during airwaves. in consideration of the amount of concerts being played there I'm ashamed to admit that I was a lazy ass and don't need much more than 2 hands to count all the concerts I've been to. but they were good. not even one disappointing concert.
one of the most unique experiences though was DAUGHTER playing in fríkirkja.

double exposure by accident

there was this filmroll I was badly searching for after my half-a-year-stay in iceland. I couldn't explain myself what happened to the pictures on that film. I seemed to have lost that roll.

now I developed the pictures I took at iceland airwaves festival. kinda shocked finding out that I double/triple exposed the lost filmroll which now contains pictures taken in iceland in may, pictures taken in vienna in late summer and pictures taken in iceland again in oct.2012, all mixed up and layered.
definitely one of the more pleasant kind of accidents.

homecoming

they wouldn't let me bring skyr to austria. but I made it to frankfurt with it.
they wouldn't believe when I told them that it is actually no "joghurt" and that it is not liquid.
they wanted to throw it away.
I went out of the handluggage-control zone and started eating skyr, sitting on a pale grey floor at frankfurt airport. didn't feel that good about that.

I love the silence of our backyard at night.
smoking a cigarette out of the window on the aisle
it's cold and windy and much like autm outside
listening to silence

my table is public space

due to a lack of concentration on my studying issues I rather found it interesting to create an HDR picture of my surroundings. protagonists of this fun are my steady company for that day. ashtray, huflattich-tea, lamp, casio vl-tone. I might try to find a way to regain concentration now.
